A.J Moore

Saveit4aSong’s resident artist, A.J Moore is a talented songwriter and session guitarist who has, in a brief career, played with leading lights in the classical and pop world (such as, no.1 selling female classical artist, Hayley Westenra, X Factor’s Jonathan Ansell, Britain’s Got Talent star, Faryl Smith, Egyptian superstar Amr Diab, and Westend star Lee Mead) as well as carving a niche for his own work in London's top venues.

Brought up in Carlisle, A.J began learning classical guitar age 12, later moving to Yorkshire, qualifying from Leeds College of Music with a Batchelor of Performing Arts in classical music (a college at which he later taught). It was during his time at Leeds that A.J developed his skills as a versatile musician and songwriter, playing and writing for a wide variety of bands, and duos in pop, rock, Celtic and classical.

While he's made a name for himself in the session circles for his virtuosity and adaptability, his own compositions are building a following. Understated verses accompanied by haunting sounds of acoustic guitar and contrasting memorable choruses feature highly in A.J's music.
